Dr Kipkoech Mutai
Founder & Director | Statistician, Epidemiologist & Mathematical Modeller
Dr Kipkoech Mutai is a statistician and mathematical modeller with dual doctorates from the University of Bristol (UK) and the University of Cape Town (South Africa). Over a career spanning nearly 15 years, he has contributed to more than 20 data-driven projects across six countries, working with governments, academic institutions, and international organisations — including collaborations with UNAIDS — on some of the most pressing challenges in global health.
His technical expertise spans advanced statistical modelling, epidemiological analysis, health data systems, and evidence synthesis. Dr Mutai has published peer-reviewed research, supported national health policy processes, and trained the next generation of health data professionals across Sub-Saharan Africa and the UK. He currently holds a position as Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol.

OUR NETWORK
A Specialist Network, Matched to Your Project
StatBridge Consulting operates as a boutique consultancy, drawing on a carefully selected network of specialist associates — epidemiologists, health economists, policy analysts, data scientists, and field researchers — whose expertise is matched to the specific requirements of each engagement.
This model means that every project is staffed with the right expertise for the work, rather than whoever happens to be available. Associates are engaged on a project basis and are selected for their technical rigour, contextual experience, and alignment with StatBridge’s commitment to evidence-informed, sustainable impact.
If you would like to know more about the expertise we can bring to your specific project, please get in touch — we are happy to outline the team we would propose for your engagement.
